How Africa’s youth can band together to tackle challenges amid COVID-19

International Youth Day on the 12th of August is a significant date that celebrates the pivotal role of youth in society, recognizing their strengths and needs. This year, under the theme 'Youth Engagement for Global Action,' the focus is on creating conducive environments and opportunities for young people to shape their future as innovators and successful social entrepreneurs. In a recent interview with CNBC Africa, Mark Bryan Schreiner, the UNFPA representative in Rwanda, highlighted the importance of engaging young people in decision-making processes at local, national, and global levels.
