Solidarity Fund to respond to KZN floods

The Solidarity Fund, the platform set up two years ago to unite the national response to the Covid-19 pandemic, has another big task on its hands. Its been called upon to support relief efforts following the devastating floods that left more than 40,000 people displaced and claimed nearly 450 lives. The Fund has set up a Floods Response pillar to ring-fence the floods response activities and separate them from the Covid19 Fund. Joining CNBC Africa is the Chairperson of the Solidarity Fund, Gloria Serobe.
