Elusive peace in DRC & economic cost

East African Community (EAC) leaders have expressed hope of finding a lasting solution to the conflict in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) through peaceful means, but have signalled that they will not hesitate to use military action to achieve the goal. CNBC Africa recently spoke with Noah Midamba, a Professor of Defense and Foreign Policy, who shed light on the intricate dynamics at play in the region.
