Impala Platinum posts 87% plunge in annual HEPS

Impala Platinum says it halted spending on a new mine it was developing in South Africa after full year profit plunged 87 per cent due to persistent low metal prices. The Twin Rivers project, which was being jointly advanced with African Rainbow Minerals at a cost of about R5.7 billion rand, would be placed on care and maintenance.
