Rwanda eyes more revenues after cabinet okays new tax measures

The Rwandan government is banking on netting in more revenues in the 2025-2026 fiscal year after Cabinet approved several tax hikes expected to boost revenue mobilization. Consumers are set to pay a little extra for their favorite beer while ladies may have to dig deeper in their purses to afford cosmetics and beauty products with gamblers not being spared either.
