Scaling up Nigeria’s electricity value-chain

The Nigerian Senate has passed the Electricity Bill 2022, while also calling for an increase in investment and reform of the Nigeria Electricity Supply Industry. This bill, when signed into law, is expected to open up the space in the power industry and give a nod to states or individuals with capacities to generate their own power and distribute it.
