Risk perception continues to cost Africa billions in trade & investment financing

Africa has long suffered from a risk perception - one of the main factors contributing to the continent's estimated $200 billion trade and investment financing gap. Just this week, an UNCTAD report noted that FDI flows to Africa had dipped to $45 billion in 2022 from $80 billion in 2021.
