CPPE: Q2’23 economic slowdown due to shocks from reforms

The Center for the Promotion of Private Enterprise says the year-on-year slowdown in the second quarter GDP performance reflects the adverse impact of reforms which were disproportionately higher than expected. However, it forecasts that a rebound of the economy is expected in the medium to long term as current distortions in the economy are corrected.
