IMF to review Ghana $600mn loan payout today

The International Monetary Fund executive board is set to meet today to consider the first review of Ghana's $3 billion Extended Credit Facility with the expectation the Board will sign off a $600 million loan disbursement. Meanwhile, the World Bank Group has welcomed the agreement in principle on the key parameters of the proposed debt restructuring for Ghana reached by the Official Creditors’ Committee under the G20 Common Framework.
